SMP, Kolkata Celebrates World Environment Day with a Pledge for a Sustainable Future.

Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port (SMP), Kolkata, observed World Environment Day on Thursday (June 5, 2025) with celebrations held across both its dock systems — Kolkata and Haldia.
At the Kolkata Dock System (KDS), the event was marked with the planting of native tree species at the Civil Engineering Office. The plantation drive was inaugurated by Shri Rathendra Raman, Chairman, SMP Kolkata.
