A few days ago, serious allegations related to financial transactions were filed with the CAB Ombudsman against CAB's joint secretary Debrabrata Das and treasurer Prabir Chakraborty. More incidents came to light on Sunday. There, allegations related to financial transactions have also been filed against Ambarish Mitra, who is associated with CAB. This time, another legal letter has been filed against a member of the CAB's apex committee.
Mahadev Chakraborty is a member of the CAB's apex council. A legal letter was filed against him last Friday. The letter alleges that Mahadev has become a member of the Apex Council by flouting the CAB rules. It has also been said that an investigation should be conducted into whether Mahadev submitted proper documents during nomination or in the affidavit.
