Kolkata witnessed a dazzling celebration of heritage and haute couture at the Chamak Dhamak Fashion & Lifestyle Exhibition Kolkata Edition, a two-day luxury trunk exhibition hosted at ITC Royal Bengal. Held on July 26 and 27, the exhibition brought together India’s most sought-after designers and lifestyle curators under one glamorous roof.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Kalyan Banerjee, Member of Parliament, Serampore (Lok Sabha Constituency), and welcomed Kolkata’s top fashionistas, socialites, and influencers like Uzma Firoz, Naheed Begum and many more. But beyond its star-studded surface, the exhibition had a deeper purpose  to revive India’s iconic craftsmanship, handwoven heritage, and artisanal legacy that are fading in today's fast fashion era.
With a curated selection of exclusive collections, the exhibition featured timeless silhouettes, intricate embroidery, and premium Indian weaves that highlighted both tradition and innovation. Every stall and showcase was a tribute to India's deep-rooted fashion culture.Over 60 designer and lifestyle stalls were set up, each one showcasing India’s deep-rooted fashion culture through their unique and elegant offerings.
The event was organized by *Mrs. Arti Modi and Mr. Sumit Banka* in association with Green Entertainment, the official event partner.
Speaking on the occasion, *Mazhar Badgujar, Founder of Green Entertainment*, shared, “Chamak Dhamak isn’t just an exhibition , it’s a movement where style meets soul.We are proud to be associated with a platform that values sustainability, creativity, and the craft of Indian artisans. Our aim was to support a glamorous yet conscious fashion experience that also speaks to the modern Indian shopper.”
The organizers, *Mrs. Arti Modi and Mr. Sumit Banka*, added, “Chamak Dhamak is our vision to bring India’s most exclusive designers and finest craftsmanship to the forefront, especially in a culturally rich city like Kolkata. Our goal was to curate an experience that’s not just luxurious but meaningful where fashion tells stories, celebrates tradition, and inspires conscious shopping.”
What made this edition stand out was the festival-like vibe, complete with live styling sessions, luxe lounge zones, and glam photo booths that elevated the visitor experience. 
The exhibition featured handpicked designer curation, with exclusive collections from some of the biggest labels and names in Indian fashion.
The Kolkata edition was not just an exhibition, it became a destination where shoppers, designers, and creators connected over couture, culture, and conscious fashion.
