Along with this, the police car in Subhendu's convoy was also vandalized. There was a lot of tension in the Khagrabari area of Cooch Behar over this incident. Subhendu Adhikari came to Cooch Behar on Tuesday to meet the Superintendent of Police.
Trinamool leaders and workers had already gathered in Khagrabari with black flags to protest around him. As soon as Subhendu's convoy entered, it is alleged that they were hit with sticks and stones were thrown. The rear window of the car in which Subhendu was travelling was broken. It is alleged that the police car was also vandalized. Then the convoy reached the BJP district office. Subhendu is currently there.
