Fire Minister Sujit Basu offered puja with family at Tarapith, presented the development report to the media.

Sanchita Chatterjee, BS News Agency, Tarapith: Monday afternoon, the Minister of the state's Fire department, Sujit Basu, came to offer puja at the revered Tarapith temple in Birbhum. He reached Tarapith this morning with his family members. After offering puja at the temple, the minister and his family circumambulated the entire temple premises and spoke to the devotees. After offering puja in the holy atmosphere of the temple, he said that this visit is a special moment of devotion as well as spiritual peace for him.
After the puja, the Domkal Minister, facing the media, said that the work of the fire department is progressing rapidly in several important places in the district. Especially, the work of constructing fire brigade buildings has already started in these four areas - Nalati, Tarapith, Lavpur and Murarai.  The Minister assured that most of the plating work has been completed and a fire station with modern facilities will be built very soon.
The Minister further said that this project has been taken up by the state government to provide more security and services to the people of the district. If these four new fire stations are launched in the future, it will be possible to deal with accidents and take quick action in emergency situations.
The curiosity among the general devotees was also noticeable around the arrival of the Minister at the Tarapith temple. Many greeted him and expressed optimism about the upcoming work of the fire department.
