spirit with Emami Healthy & Tasty Fresh Chakki Atta featuring stars of its
first team and women's team.

24 September, 2025: This Durga Puja, Emami Healthy
& Tasty blends devotion with nourishment in a truly unique celebration, by
creating a Maa Durga idol sculpted from Emami Healthy & Tasty Fresh Chakki
Atta. Made from 100% pure wheat and traditionally stone-ground, the atta
embodies the brand's core values of purity, nutrition and softness, symbolizing
tradition togetherness and wholesome living.
In a heartwarming blend of cultural
reverence and sporting camaraderie, Emami East Bengal FC's women's team and
men's first team players came together this morning to celebrate the Pujo
spirit with the Maa Durga idol sculpted from Emami Healthy & Tasty Fresh
Chakki Atta this morning at the Rajdanga Naba Uday Sangha pandal
EEB first team stars Anwar Ali, Souvik
Chakrabarti and Mohammed Rashid, women's team players Fazila Ikwaput, Resty
Nanziri, Maureen T. Okpala, Abena A. Opoku, Shrabani Murmu and Birsi Oraon,
along with Mr Sandeep Agrawal, Director & CFO - Emami Agrotech Ltd and
Director -Emami East Bengal FC; Mr Saurabh Dasgupta, VP - Finance, Emami
Agrotech Ltd and Director, Emami East Bengal FC; and Mr Kaushik Roy Chowdhury,
AVP - Marketing, Emami Agrotech, today, attended the final phase of the
idol-making.
The initiative began on 17th September,
2025, with popular actor Ms Priyanka Sarkar participating. In a symbolic
gesture of renewal, seeds embedded in the idol will later be planted, marking
new beginnings and extending the divine blessings of Maa Durga.
"Durga Puja is a festival of devotion,
joy and togetherness. With our unique Atta Durga initiative, we wished to
create a symbol that embodies nourishment, purity and tradition, the same
values that Emami Healthy & Tasty Fresh Chakki Atta represents. This
initiative has been widely appreciated and we are already having visitors
coming over to have a look at the idol of Durga Maa," said Mr Vibhash
Vardhan Agarwal, Director, Emami Group.
EEB men's first team player Souvik
Chakrabarti said, "This is more than just a Pujo pandal with a unique
concept, it's an artistic marvel that celebrates the purity of the Pujo as well
as the purity of our staple food-atta. It's a great occasion for us to
collaborate with our champion women's team players, who are making the club and
the country proud on the Asian stage. We are grateful to Emami for bringing us
together and enabling such meaningful experiences that bring us closer to our
roots."
EEB men's first team and Indian national
team star Anwar Ali said, "As professional footballers, we always push our
boundaries on the field, but today we are experiencing something that's
profoundly cultural. Durga Pujo is a celebration of the strength of womanhood,
and we are honored to share the stage with our women's team. It's inspiring to
see Emami embrace inclusivity across genders and generations."
EEB women's team forward Fazila Ikwaput
said, "Being part of this event was truly a special experience. It's my
first Durga Pujo. It fills me with great pride to think that I represent a club
and a city with such a rich cultural legacy."
