Kolkata, 21st September, 2025: In a monumental musical collaboration, massArt, in partnership with UNESCO and supported by one of the leading real estate developer Jain Group, today, launched launch of 'Rock-Stotra' on the auspicious eve of Mahalaya. A fusion musical, blending Eastern & Western notes, by Shiladitya-Shom, the song celebrates Durga Puja's recognition as a global art festival with mass Art's Preview Show 2025 of Durga Puja Art. The song brings together three celebrated stalwarts of Indian music, Padma Bhushan Pandit Ajay Chakraborty, Padma Bhushan Usha Uthup and Pandit Tanmoy Bose for the first time ever.

Serving as the perpetual theme to promote the Preview Show 2025 of Durga Puja Art, 'Rock-Stotra is a unique fusion of classical and contemporary sounds, blending the mellifluous voice of Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty with the iconic 'Queen of Indian Pop', Usha Uthup's powerful voice. The musical also features percussions by the inimitable Pandit Tanmoy Bose, whose contributions have played a huge role in the song's distinctive character. Capturing the soul of Kolkata, the musical journey behind this song was filmed at Kolkata's historic Badan Chand Roy Bari and the revered Ghats of the Ganges.

As Durga Puja have received the World Heritage tag from UNESCO as the world's largest art festival, this song is one of the tools to promote this festival to the global audience. Prior to the grand launch of the musical, a divine, 12 feet tall, Chocolate Durga idol carved out of pure dark chocolate was unveiled by the artists present at Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport. The Chocolate Durga idol, a masterpiece of culinary craftsmanship, has been brought to life by local artisans of West Bengal under the expert supervision of the Chefs at Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport.

To be released by Surinder Films, the song's core message highlights how Durga Puja has transcended its roots to become a global festival, attracting foreigners who enthusiastically join the celebrations in Kolkata. It beautifully encapsulates how art unites everyone from artisans and organizers to visitors and the foreign diaspora in a grand carnival of creativity and community.
