Nepalese Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli resigned on Tuesday due to protests by the Gen Z generation. 11 members of his cabinet have resigned. According to various sources, Oli has probably fled the country. On this day, the mob set fire to and vandalized the houses of political leaders one after another. Parliament was burnt down in the fire of public anger. Nepalese President Ram Chandra Paudel's house was also attacked. Some videos of Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel being thrown to death on the street have been circulated.

The house of former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuna was attacked. The house of former Home Minister Ramesh Lakhkar was set on fire. He had resigned the day before. The protesters gathered in Kalankhi, Kalimati, Tahachal and Baneshwar areas. They gathered in Chaiyasal, Chapagarh, Tehcho, all in Lalitpur district. Tyres were set on fire in Kalankhi. Stones were pelted at the house of Communications Minister Prithvi Sura Gurung. Gurung had ordered the ban on social media. The house of former Nepali Prime Minister Pushpa Kumar Dahal alias Prachanda was also attacked. The house of former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuna was also vandalised. Meanwhile, people with guns were seen roaming the streets of the capital. Several hotels were set on fire and vandalised. Their identities are not known. In the evening, it was reported that the protesters vandalised and set fire to government ministries and offices in Singha Darbar. The Parliament building was also vandalized and the homes of several high-ranking leaders of the country, as well as the headquarters of many political parties, were attacked. The protesters set fire to the Dallur house of former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal. His wife Rajyalakshmi Chitrakar was trapped in the house. Witnesses said that his body was badly burned. He was rushed to Kirtipur Narn Hospital. However, he died there, according to New Portal Khabar Hub. Khanal was the Prime Minister for 7 months in 2011. The house of former Finance Minister and Nepali Congress leader Ram Sharan Mahat was also set on fire. The protesters vandalized the Kazipur Television office in Greenkune. That house was also set on fire. Several outposts, including the Gaushala police outpost, were set on fire. These include the Ludh police outpost and the Kalimati police outpost.
A video that went viral on social media showed protesters dragging former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba of the Nepali Congress and his wife, Foreign Minister Arju Rana, out of their house and beating them. Deuba and his wife were injured in the beating. Apart from the protesters, the house of former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai was also set on fire. Baburam's family apologized to the agitated crowd. Social media showed Deputy Chief Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel being chased and beaten by the angry crowd. Meanwhile, Army Chief Ashok Raj has appealed to the protesters to stop the protest and sit for talks.
Curfew has been imposed in several cities in Nepal, including Kathmandu.
