Sonali Halder, BS News Agency: The 91st death anniversary of the father of the Rajbangshi nation, Roy Saheb Manishi Panchanan Barma,
was observed in Rajganj, Jalpaiguri district. On Tuesday, the death anniversary of Panchanan Barma was observed on the banks of the Korotwa River in Mehendiganj area of Majhiali Gram Panchayat in Rajganj.
In addition to paying tribute to Panchanan Barma by offering floral tributes to the statue of Panchanan Barma, the day was observed by discussing his contributions and achievements. Along with this, Shiv Puja, Ganga Puja, Shakti Sancharini Puja and Radha Govinda Puja were performed. Many people participated in this event in different areas on this day.
