Sanchita Chatterjee, BS News Agency, Kolkata: Today, Army XI defeated Indian Air Force 2-0 in the final of the 126th Beton Cup, the world's oldest hockey tournament, at the newly built Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Hockey Stadium in Salt Lake to become the champion. The prize distribution ceremony of the final was attended by Honorable Sports Minister Shri Arup Biswas and World Cup winning German legendary footballer Lothar Mathews. Honorable Minister Sujit Bose and former legendary hockey star Gurbax Singh were present.
