Sanchita Chatterjee, BS News Agency, Bangaon: Mamata Banerjee's speech in Bangaon*
* First of all, I apologize to you for coming late, but there is an interesting side to it. For the last seven-eight months, I have not used helicopters, I have been travelling from one district to another using cars for all my programmes. But today, since it was here and I had to go to Thakurnagar and come back again, I thought the government helicopter could be used. But today at 10 am I was informed that the helicopter will not fly. The elections have not started yet, but the conflict has already started. But they did not understand that it has gone in my favour. Because, while coming on the road, I have been able to meet many people and establish public relations with them.

* I say to BJP: Don't try to play with me, because you cannot compete with me. You use all the agencies and spend as much money as you want. People will take money, but they will not vote for you. You will give money for a month, but what will happen after that? People want livelihood security, democracy and respect. Especially I am a woman Chief Minister, an embodiment of women power, who has been a student councillor since childhood. I am a student of Yogmaya Devi College, where I am the founder-president of student politics. When I take on something, I finish it. I went on a hunger strike for 26 days to return the land of the farmers of Singur. I did not back down. So do whatever you want—take away my helicopter, block my path, but I will still find my way.
