Sanchita Chatterjee, BS News Agency, Howrah, 23rd December 2025: With the rising incidence of neurological, blood-related, and cardiac conditions across Eastern India, Manipal Hospital EM Bypass, a unit of one of the largest healthcare providers of Eastern India – the Manipal Hospitals Group, organised an interactive awareness session under its flagship initiative, ‘Anveshana – Medical Education for Media’, in Howrah today.

The session featured Dr. L.N. Tripathy, Director of Manipal Institute of Neurological Diseases(MIND) & Senior Consultant – Neurosurgery, Manipal Hospital EM Bypass; Dr. Rajib De, Clinical Lead & Senior Consultant, Department of Clinical Haematology, Haemato-Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant, Manipal Hospital, EM Bypass; and Dr. Abhishek Roy, Consultant – Interventional Cardiology, Manipal Hospital EM Bypass, who shared expert insights on the growing burden of neurological disorders, blood-related diseases, and cardiac conditions in the region. The doctors discussed evolving disease patterns, lifestyle-linked risk factors, the importance of early diagnosis, and recent advancements in minimally invasive neurosurgery, advanced haematology and bone marrow transplant care, and modern interventional cardiology procedures. Emphasis was laid on how timely intervention and access to specialised treatment can significantly improve patient outcomes and overall quality of life.
 Derived from the Sanskrit term for “seeking and discovering,” ‘Anveshana’ reflects Manipal Hospitals’ commitment to collaborative learning, responsible communication, and strengthening public health awareness through engagement with the media.
