Kolkata: Ruby Park Public School celebrated its eagerly awaited Third Annual
Sports Meet on 13th December 2025 with a veritable effulgence of spirit and
indefatigable enthusiasm. The festivities were inaugurated with a gracious
welcome address by the Hon'ble Principal, Mrs. Mousumi Mohapatra and President
of the KrishnaDayal Education and Research Academy Shri Alok Tibrewal, who
reiterated about the pivotal role of sports in fostering character, discipline
and holistic growth.
The magnificent ceremonial grandiloquence
was commenced with a mellifluent and impeccably orchestrated choir performance
that mesmerized the gathering, creating a spell of enchantment.
The essence of sportsmanship was further
elevated with the symbolic release of balloons and the ceremonial hoisting of
the sports flag.

The March Past unfolded as a radiant
spectacle, with the contingents proceeding in flawless synchrony and exuberant
vigour, transforming the arena into a parade of disciplined grandeur.
Subsequently ensued the dignified oath-taking ceremony, wherein the students
solemnly vowed to uphold integrity, equity and the hallowed ethos of authentic
sportsmanship.
The lighting of the torch, an incandescent
emblem of unity, aspiration, and assiduous human endeavour, heralded the formal
inception of the sports meet. Justice Shri. Pranab Kumar Chattopadhyay presided
over our 3rd Annual Sports Meet as the Chief Guest of Eminence. The occasion
was resplendently graced by the Chief Guest, Mr. Biswajit Dey Chowdhury,
internationally acclaimed Swimming Coach and the Guest of Honour, Ms. Sayani
Ghosh, a prodigious swimming virtuoso. Their presence enhanced the event's prestige,
lending profound distinction to the momentous celebration.
Pupils from various grades presented
captivating cultural displays, featuring rhythmic drills and graceful artistic
movements. The Taekwondo display enthralled with precision, followed by a
tranquil Yoga sequence. Each performance highlighted the learners' artistic
refinement and strong physical faculties.
The students undertook the athletic
contests with verve and dauntless resolve, transforming each event into a
pageant of youthful vitality, while parents and staff partook in competitions,
amplifying the collective exuberance of the festal gathering.
In the end, as the assembly rose in unison
for the National Anthem, the pulchritudinous celebration concluded with a sense
of satisfaction and lasting cheer.
