Sub: Timing of preparation of first reservation chart.
With a view to inform passengers well in time about the reservation status so as to remove the anxiety of passengers coming from the remote locations to get the long-distance trains, it has been decided to prepare the first reservation charts as follows: -
i. For trains with departure time from 0501 hours to 1400 hours, the first reservation charts shall be prepared preferably by 2000 hours of the previous day.
ii. For trains with departure time from 1401 hours to 2359 hours and from 0000 hours to 0500 hours, the first reservation charts shall be prepared preferably at least 10 hours in advance.
2. Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned accordingly.
