literary landscape expanded with the unveiling of
Shobdo Bilasi, the second poetry collection
by poet and author Anuradha Mazumdar, published by Sobdoguchha Prakashana,
marking an important moment in her evolving creative journey. The book
presented a layered exploration of emotion, memory and social consciousness,
reaffirming her deep-rooted commitment to Bengali literature and her belief in
language as a powerful medium of expression.
The literary unveiling took place in the
esteemed presence of Smt. Rachna Banerjee, Hon'ble Member of Parliament (Lok
Sabha - Hooghly), Mr. Subodh Sarkar, renowned poet and literary figure, Sutopa
Bandopadhyay, acclaimed elocutionist, anchor, television personality and
actress, Mr. Rahul Burman, renowned actor and director, and Ms. Madhuchhanda
Sen, Founder of Maya Art Space. Their presence lent depth and distinction to an
evening dedicated to words and expression.
