Sanchita Chatterjee, BS News Agency, Kolkata: The Bengal Tigers team relived their historic success of becoming the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) champions in 2024. On Friday, at the team hotel in Coimbatore, a special documentary titled "This is how you can make a comeback," produced by Greymind Films and directed by Anilav Chatterjee, was released, showcasing every battle fought during their 2024 CCL victory.
The documentary, released in the presence of all the Bengal Tigers team members, brought back to life every thrilling moment on their path to becoming champions in 2024. This initiative was taken by the team management to further motivate and inspire the team members mentally before the semi-finals and finals of the current league.
Sitting together at the team hotel, the team's stars were overwhelmed with emotion as they watched their historic moments of victory on screen. Team captain Jisshu Sengupta said, “This is a truly amazing documentary about the Bengal Tigers. Tears welled up in my eyes while watching it. There are 2-3 people in this team, and I am one of them, who have witnessed every battle of the team since day one. I know and feel the journey of this team from the bottom of my heart. When these moments become hazy amidst shooting and other busy schedules after becoming champions, I will watch this documentary again.”
Bengal Tigers team coach Sharadindu Mukherjee said, “An amazing, brilliant documentary. There are some moments that are very precious in life—they stay with us forever. To keep these moments fresh, it is essential that we become champions this year. What has happened is history. Now it's time to look ahead. Last time we had to accept defeat in the semi-finals, but this year, forgetting that chapter, we will move towards the final. We have to show that tigers hunt both at night and during the day.”
