BS News Agency: Zunheboto and other districts to get more Chopper Services.
Pawan Hans Limited (PHL), India’s largest government-owned helicopter service provider under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, conducted trial helicopter landings across five districts of Nagaland on January 13 as part of the Government of India’s Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS)–UDAN.
The trials were undertaken to evaluate helicopter connectivity between Dimapur and the districts of Mokokchung, Kohima, Phek, Tuensang, and Zunheboto. The operations were carried out using a Pawan Hans Dauphin twin-engine helicopter (registration VT-ELG), following the necessary approvals from the respective district administrations.
