Sanchita Chatterjee, BS News Agency: “The Union Budget 2026–27 reflects a continued emphasis on growth through capital investment, fiscal discipline and infrastructure-led development. The strong focus on connectivity, urban infrastructure and economic activity across multiple sectors underlines a long-term strategy aimed at strengthening India’s growth and employment fundamentals rather than short-term measures.

From a real estate perspective, the Budget is encouraging from a macroeconomic and infrastructure standpoint. While there are no immediate, sector-specific incentives, the sustained push towards infrastructure creation, urban development and balanced regional growth is expected to support real estate demand in an indirect but meaningful manner over the medium to long term, enhancing confidence among both homebuyers and developers,”
