Sanchita Chatterjee, BS News Agency, Kolkata, February 24, 2026: Shri Jayant Chaudhary, the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and also Minister of State for Education, visited the Central Staff Training and Research Institute (CSTARI), Kolkata, today, to review the institute’s ongoing skilling and training activities.
During his visit, the Minister laid the foundation stone of a new auditorium, aimed at strengthening the institute’s training infrastructure. Shri Chaudhary encouraged the youth to actively participate in skill development initiatives and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s growth.
As part of the visit, Shri Chaudhary also interacted with the trainees, who expressed enthusiasm and excitement on meeting him. While visit, the Minister planted a tree within the CSTARI campus, symbolising commitment towards sustainable development.
The visit underscored the Government of India’s continued focus on strengthening institutional infrastructure and promoting skill development across the country.
