Sanchita Chatterjee/BS News Agency, Kolkata: Sarodiya Charitable Trust proudly announces the celebration of PhoolDol 2026, its annual inclusive Holi initiative dedicated to visually impaired students. Continuing a heartfelt tradition of more than a decade, the event will be held at Lighthouse for the Blind School, near the CESC Office, Rashbehari, Kolkata.
PhoolDol reimagines Holi by moving away from synthetic colors and embracing the beauty of nature through soft, fragrant flowers. Designed especially for visually impaired children, the celebration focuses on sensory joy-touch, scent, music, and togetherness-making the festival meaningful beyond sight.
The campus will be adorned with seasonal blossoms such as marigolds, chrysanthemums, and other aromatic flowers, creating a safe and immersive festive environment. Students will participate in cultural performances, music, and interactive activities, fostering confidence, inclusion, and happiness.
Speaking ahead of the event, Souman Kumar Saha, Founder and Trustee of Sarodiya Charitable Trust, said:
