On Wednesday, he called Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee to express his support. In a social media post, Kejriwal wrote: "Just spoke with Mamata Didi over the phone. I expressed my complete solidarity and support. She is fighting one of the toughest battles—one that is also among the most crucial battles for Indian democracy. Even after misusing all institutions, including the CEC (Central Election Commission), Modi-ji will lose."
