BS News Agency: This is a bizarre trade: identifying the mentally distressed and inciting them to commit suicide. Subsequently, these despondent individuals—brought to the brink of death—were handed lethal poisons. This deadly trade in toxins had flourished globally. Lethal poisons were delivered to 1,200 people across 41 countries worldwide. Finally, Canadian police exposed the ringleader behind this poison racket. An elderly man named Kenneth Law has been convicted in connection with 14 cases related to this scheme.

It has been revealed that this man, aged over sixty, would contact mentally distressed individuals through various websites. Using a pseudonym, he would befriend them online and incite them to commit suicide. From 2020 to 2023, in exchange for substantial sums of money, he shipped lethal poisons—including sodium nitrite—along with various suicide paraphernalia to individuals who had expressed suicidal intent. The criminal even provided instructions on how to use these materials. In this manner, Kenneth cast a global net for his illicit business.

Kenneth, aged over sixty, utilized multiple websites to establish contact with mentally distressed individuals. Under a false identity, he would befriend them online and encourage them to take their own lives.

According to investigators, more than 1,200 "suicide kits" were shipped in this manner to over 40 countries worldwide. Notable among the destinations for these poisons were the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and New Zealand, as well as numerous countries across Europe and Asia. Investigators estimate that over 150 people have committed suicide using the poisons he supplied. Of these cases, Kenneth has been directly linked to at least 88 deaths in the United Kingdom alone.

Canadian police arrested the accused in connection with this case in 2023. Although he was initially charged with the murder of 14 individuals, the charges were dismissed due to various legal complexities. However, on May 29, the accused admitted in a Canadian court to having assisted in the suicides of 14 people. Under Canadian law, it is anticipated that Kenneth could face a prison sentence of 14 years for his involvement in this case.
