Shocking News! Man Strikes Deal with Landlord to Allow Rape of Wife and Daughter Due to Inability to Pay Rent.

Sanchita Chatterjee, BS News Agency: In Morbi, Gujarat, a man faces allegations of repeatedly subjecting his wife and minor daughter to rape by his landlord, all because he was unable to pay his house rent. The man had entered into a secret agreement with the landlord regarding this matter. The police have since arrested him. It has been reported that the family originally hails from Surendranagar, Gujarat. They moved to Morbi approximately six months ago in search of a livelihood. There, they found a house to rent for a monthly sum of ₹2,000. However, due to severe financial hardship, they fell behind on their rent payments, accumulating arrears for four months.

Opting for an utterly heinous and inhumane solution, the man struck a deal with the landlord. In exchange for the outstanding rent, he agreed to grant the landlord access to sexually abuse his wife and daughter. When the man's wife discovered the details of this abuse, she filed a complaint at the Morbi Police Station. Acting on this complaint, the police registered a case under several stringent legal sections, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Subsequently, both the minor girl's father and the landlord were arrested. Deputy Superintendent of Police J.M. Lal stated, "Both the minor girl's father and the landlord conspired together to perpetrate this abuse." Furthermore, the police are currently searching for a third individual suspected of being involved in this crime.
