Sukhendushekhar Roy, Sushmita Dev, Prakash Chik Baraik joined BJP. By-elections for 3 Rajya Sabha seats from West Bengal on July 24. This is the first time that BJP has opened the door to joining after coming to power in West Bengal. "The doors of BJP are closed to those who have looted people's money," said Shamik Bhattacharya. He also said that those who have joined are the exception.
