Sanchita Chatterjee, BS News Agency, *Dharamshala, July 2026:* The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) will organize the *Umpire and Match Referee Refresher Course – 2026* from *July 19th to 25th, 2026* at the *HPCA Cricket Stadium, Dharamshala*.
This refresher course will be conducted in *two phases (batches)* and aims to familiarize umpires and match referees with the latest cricket rules, playing conditions, and match conduct guidelines, and to further strengthen their knowledge and skills.
During this training program, participants will be trained by experts on various topics related to the latest amendments to the Laws of Cricket, match management, decision-making, and effective on-field umpiring. The program will also include classroom sessions, practical exercises, case studies, and interactive discussions.
The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association is committed to the continuous development and capacity building of cricket officials in the state. Through such training programs, umpires and match referees will have the opportunity to update their knowledge, share experiences, and improve their performance, ensuring the highest level of cricket competitions in the state.
Umpires and match referees from various districts of Himachal Pradesh will participate in this refresher course.
