Sanchita Chatterjee, BS News Agency, Kolkata: Mohammedan Sporting Club commenced their Calcutta Football League 2026 campaign in spectacular fashion today, pulling off a thrilling 3-1 comeback victory against NBP Rainbow Athletic Club at the Mohammedan Sporting Ground. Playing in front of a passionate and roaring home crowd, the Black and White Brigade showed immense character to secure all three points on the opening clash for the team.
The match was graced by the esteemed presence of the Hon’ble Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr. Indranil Khan, alongside Mr Kshudiram Tudu, the Cabinet Minister of Tribal Development, Minority Development, and Madrasah Education, both of whom graced the opening game and witness the highly anticipated season opener.
