10 newborns die mysteriously on the same day! State in turmoil over Malda Medical incident

Bibhash Lodh, BS News Agency: 10 newborns died on the same day at Malda Medical College and Hospital. After learning about the matter, Swasthya Bhavan has summoned a full report from the medical authorities. According to medical sources, this incident took place in the second week of August. The Malda Medical authorities have also accepted the incident. According to medical sources, out of the 10 children who died on the day of the incident, eight were brought to the medical from outside.

That is, some of those 8 children were born in another government hospital or nursing home. The children died due to respiratory problems, jaundice or heart problems. Regarding the incident, Medical Superintendent Prosenjit Bar said that recently 10 children died in a single day at Malda Medical. However, only two of those 10 children were born at Malda Medical.
