The car was rented by his 19-year-old friend. It is said that the three friends had gone out for a walk.
Investigation revealed that the minor took the steering wheel of the car on the way. But unable to control the car, it first hit seven motorcycles standing on the side of the road. The car then swerved to the opposite side of the road and hit two pedestrians. The injured pedestrians were identified as Raj Kumar (50) and Prabhakar (35). They were admitted to the hospital with serious injuries. Raj Kumar died during treatment. Prabhakar's condition is still critical, police said.
