Don't say Vande Mataram, don't let the national flag be hoisted, we will establish nationalism in Jadavpur: Shuvendu

Bibhash Lodh, BS News Agency: Last Wednesday, a clash between SFI and ABVP created a chaotic situation at Jadavpur University. Chief Minister Shuvendu Adhikari opened his mouth today after that incident.

Chief Minister Shuvendu Adhikari took a strong stand on the recent unrest at Jadavpur University. On this day, from the thanksgiving ceremony of Annapurna Bhandar in Bhavanipur, the Chief Minister warned, 'We will establish nationalism in Jadavpur.'

The Chief Minister said, 'Don't let Vande Mataram be said in Jadavpur. Don't let the national flag be hoisted. Don't celebrate August 15, don't let CCTV be installed. Don't let the education department enter. No matter what anyone says on their behalf, we will establish nationalism inside and outside Jadavpur. This government has come to fulfill the dream of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. This government has come to establish nationalism, statehood. Here, Vande Mataram, Jana Gana Mana will be the focus. We will not compromise with this.’
At the same time, the Chief Minister also said, ‘I am telling those who are crying about Jadavpur, know that if you want to live in this state, in this country, you have to sing Vande Mataram. The Chief Minister of this state will not compromise with nationalism, statehood.
The Chief Minister has also targeted the two camps of Trinamool along with the Left on the Jadavpur incident. Shuvendu Adhikari said, ‘The party’s Lal Babus whose bail was seized, those who are crying inside Jadavpur from Jantar Mantar in Delhi to Dorina Crossing, will not benefit them. And this fragmented ritual and Mamata Banerjee's Kalighat Trinamool will not benefit from these media trials.
