Retired IAS Anil Verma is the new chairman of the State PSC, notification issued Nabanna

 Sanchita Chatterjee, BS News Agency: Retired IAS officer Anil Verma has been appointed as the new chairman of the State Public Service Commission (PSC Chairman). It is worth mentioning here that once the Mamata Banerjee government had sent this officer to the post of State Gazetteer. In short, Anil's name was not in the good books of the previous government. Now he is retired.

A government notification in this regard was published by the Finance Department of Nabanna on Monday. The notification issued by the department stated that Anil Verma has been appointed to this post with the approval of the Governor in accordance with Article 316(1) of the Constitution of India. It has been stated that his tenure will be effective from the day he assumes office. A copy of the notification, signed by the Additional Chief Secretary of the state government, Prabhat Kumar Mishra, has already been sent to all the concerned administrative departments including the state Chief Secretary, Chief Minister's Secretariat, Governor's Secretariat and Finance Department.
