 BJP holds recent meeting
Since the Election Commission announced the schedule for the by-elections on October 6, the Bengal BJP has been active on the issue of organization and candidates. Recently, an emergency organizational election meeting was held at the MLA office in Reyapara, Nandigram on Tuesday. The in-charge leader of the assembly and Purulia MP Jyotirmoy Mahato, Kanthi MP Soumendu Adhikari, minister MLAs and in-charge leaders of five mandals were also present in the meeting. Central BJP leader Sunil Bansal was present at the meeting.
Who is the BJP candidate? Speculation is going on. The list includes the names of the sons of Nandigram. There is speculation about the party's district general secretary Meghnad Pal and two district vice-presidents Anjan Bharti and Prloy Pal.

Rabin Dev knew, "No one person decides our candidate, no party decides it. The Left Front meeting will be held in a few days. There, it will be decided by discussion which party will field a candidate and then who will be fielded. ’’

What is Trinamool doing?

The symbol question is still hanging in the commission. It is supposed to be resolved this week. After receiving a call from the Election Commission, Ritabrata Banerjee’s new Trinamool camp recently held a meeting to quickly decide on the name of the candidate. On the other hand, be it Abu Taher or Pavitra Kar, no leader who was once a Mamata leader is interested in contesting on a party ticket anymore. So, what is the plan of the Kalighat-based Trinamool to field a candidate in the by-election, it is not known yet.
