Chasing 217 runs, Sri Lanka's innings ended for just 69 runs in 15.4 overs. Deepti Sharma played the main role in sending the Sri Lankan batters back to the pavilion with a low score. Deepti took 3 wickets for 6 runs to break the Sri Lankan innings. Shafali Verma took 3 wickets for 3 runs, Shreyanka Patil took 2 wickets for 9 runs, and Sricharani took 2 wickets for 13 runs. Except for Chamari Atapattu (29), Kaushini Nutyangana (14) and Kabisha Dilhari (11), no one else could reach double figures.
