BS News Agency: New Delhi has become abuzz with the mega march of the 'India' alliance from Parliament to the National Election Commission. Led by Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Abhishek Banerjee, the march demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar as well as his arrest. While walking in the procession, Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee launched a scathing attack on the Election Commission and the Modi government, citing the Supreme Court's observation. He alleged that the Supreme Court's observation regarding Form 6 had caught the theft of the commission and that the names of common people have been removed from the voter list in various states including Bengal, violating their constitutional rights. Meanwhile, Delhi Police barricaded the procession 500 meters away from the Election Commission office, creating tension. Along with drone surveillance, a clash with the police took place in the presence of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and workers. On the other hand, completely dismissing the program and the alliance claims, West Bengal BJP state president Shamik Bhattacharya sarcastically said that 'Indi alliance' does not exist in reality and the opposition leaders are making such baseless comments only after being rejected by the people.
