BS News Agency: Sunil Gavaskar is very angry. Indian legendary cricketer Gavaskar has taken a one-handed slap on West Indies pacer Samar Joseph. For Joseph's unruly behavior in the fourth T20 match against India in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Not aiming at the wicket, Joseph bowled to Indian team batter Arshdeep Singh even after he injured his shoulder.

Indian tailender Arshdeep injured his shoulder with Joseph's bouncer. Despite this, Arshdeep did not want to leave the crease. Even though Indian team captain Shreyas Iyer told him to retire. After the ball hit his shoulder, Arshdeep left his stumps open to avoid Joseph's aggressive bowling. Joseph still did not try to hit the ball on the stumps, but instead aimed at Arshdeep's injured shoulder and bounced it again. Luckily, the ball did not hit Arshdeep's shoulder or body. The ball evaded Arshdeep and the West Indies wicketkeeper, giving India a four-run bye. The umpire also signaled a wide ball. Arshdeep kept moving away from the stumps throughout the over and tried to play Joseph.

Gavaskar was more upset with the West Indies pacer Joseph's inhumane behavior than he was unhappy with India losing the match. Gavaskar said while giving commentary, "What is happening? Why is Joseph attacking Arshdeep even though the stumps are empty?"

Arshdeep, however, could not bat for long due to his shoulder injury. After retiring for 5 runs, West Indies won the match by 24 runs and equalized the series. The Indian team will surely come out on the field in Bengaluru on Saturday to give a befitting reply to the West Indies bowler Joseph's unprovoked behaviour, but there are doubts whether Arshdeep will be able to play in the series decider due to a shoulder injury.

West Indies captain Sai Hope's unbeaten 102 and bowler Keemo Paul's 5/41 helped India to a humiliating defeat. Batting first, West Indies scored 247-3 in 20 overs. In reply, India scored 223-9. However, Gavaskar was reluctant to blame the Hyderabad pitch for the defeat. He highlighted the lack of consistency in the Indian team's batting and bowling as the main reason for the defeat.
