Massive fraud before the elections! Election Commission takes historic action after 10,000 names were found tampered with!

BS News Agency: The Election Commission of India has taken strict action as soon as the sensational tampering with the voter list of Pilvit assembly constituency came to light just before the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. The commission has immediately dismissed or suspended two Electoral Registration Officers (ERO) after allegations of illegal inclusion and swapping of names of about 10,470 voters were proven. This unprecedented strict action by the commission has created a huge uproar in the administrative and political circles of vote-seeking Uttar Pradesh.

The Election Commission has sent a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Uttar Pradesh and the Chief Secretary to the state government, ordering them to immediately suspend EROs Mayank Goswami and Hemant Choudhary. At the same time, an order has been issued to prepare a charge sheet against them and send it to the commission. The order clearly states that these two officers cannot be reinstated in any way without the prior permission of the Election Commission. Not only departmental action, but an FIR has already been filed in the police station against the two accused officers and a computer operator of the voter registration center named Anil Kumar. Section 198 of the Indian Penal Code (disobedience of law by a public servant with intent to cause harm to any person) has been added to the FIR as per the order of the commission. The commission has also directed that legal proceedings be taken very strictly against these accused in the court. The District Election Officer (DEO) has also been directed to thoroughly examine the entire voter list of all 4 assembly constituencies of Pilvit district and submit a report within a week. The commission has also directed all the EROs of the entire state to bring under special investigation the names added, deleted or corrected through Form 6, Form 7 and Form 8.
