Union Home Minister Amit Shah made this comment while attending the BJP's Vijay Sankalp meeting at Netaji Indoor Stadium on Sunday. He demanded that the state government give us all its land, I promise that not even a needle will be able to melt on the border.

Because Mamata Banerjee has opened the borders of our country for Bangladeshis. Infiltration is happening with her blessings. Can Didi stop infiltration? Can nephew stop it? Only the Padmaphul government can stop infiltration.'
Shah's challenge to Mamata, 'The Trinamool MP was asking me in Parliament what the BSF is doing? Mamata Didi, we have asked you for land. Give us the entire land, let the flood end, not even a single needle will be able to melt. You are knowingly not giving land on the border. Because infiltration will continue, your vote bank will continue to grow, and your nephew will become the Chief Minister after you. I will not let this happen.'
Let us tell you that the dispute between the Centre and the state over Bangladeshi infiltration in the state is quite old. The Centre claims that infiltration is taking place with the help of the ruling Trinamool Congress party of West Bengal. In return, the Trinamool claims that the BSF under the control of the Centre is responsible for border security. If there is infiltration, they will be responsible.
Let us tell you that recently, a Bangladeshi infiltrator was arrested by the BSF on the Cooch Behar border. It is learnt that the arrested infiltrator is a teacher of a madrasa in Murshidabad. He receives the Imam allowance provided by the Mamata Banerjee government. Most of the Bangladeshi infiltrators arrested in different parts of the country have been found to have government identity cards made in West Bengal. The BJP claims that this would not have been possible without the cooperation of the state's ruling party.
