Match-officials workshop for Bengal Pro T20 League.
Sanchita Chatterjee, Kolkata. Ahead of the Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2, the Cricket Association of Bengal on Saturday conducted a workshop for the match-officials at the Eden Gardens.
All match referees and umpires, taking part in the Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2 were present for the workshop.
This initiative was taken by CAB Umpires Committee, led by Chairman Prosenjit Banerjee and CAB Umpires Committee member Dr Sudip Banerjee.
Present for the workshop were match referees for Bengal Pro T20 League Miss Kathakali Banerjee, Mr Dattatreya Mukherjee, Mr Ajay Varma, Mr Arindam Sarkar.
The umpires, who will be officiating in the league Premdip Chatterjee, Satrajit Lahiri, Abhijit Bhattacharya, Krishnendu Pal among others were also present to educate the other officials about the rules and regulations of the league.
The second season will see Decision Review System (DRS) in full force for the entire men’s competition and for the women’s final at Eden Gardens.
