West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee along with national secretary TMC Abhisek Banerjee and councilors take part a protest rally against BJP ruled states torture on mother tongue Bengali from College street to Esplanade in kolkata on Wednesday.

Sanchita Chatterjee, Kolkata: In the fight for the honor of Bengali language and Bengal, ignoring the pouring rain, the people, regardless of caste, religion and colour, joined the grand procession with Mamata Banerjee, I express my humble respect and gratitude.

Inhuman atrocities are being committed against Bengali-speaking workers within the very-ruled state and the connection is being engineered with the name 'Bangladeshi'. This is nothing but a planned attack on our democracy. This is the sacred land of Bengal of Rabindranath Tagore, Nazrul Islam, Barji Subhash Chandra Bose,
Swami Bikananda. This land of Bengal is the land of martyred brave warriors of the independent country. It should be remembered very well, 'Bangla language insult - Bengal insult'. Our party is a parikram in this fight of oppression of men against the Bengali language.
The dream-ruled state is a democracy in shambles. I believe that the common people of Bengal will make the party stand in front of the corrupt-like demands for success.
