Mohammad Ashraful, a 25-year-old Bangladeshi youth, arrived in Kolkata from Singapore by plane on Friday afternoon. He was supposed to go to Dhaka from Kolkata. According to sources, while sitting in the international transit lounge, he suddenly tried to break the glass of the lounge and leave the airport.
The CSF detained him and started interrogating him. According to sources, Ashraful is from Narayanganj, Bangladesh. He is in Singapore due to work. During interrogation, the arrested youth made several incoherent remarks. According to sources, during interrogation, the arrested youth said, “Allah told him that sunlight will increase his strength.” On Friday evening, the CISF handed over the arrested youth to the police of the NS CBI Airport Police Station. The arrested youth was arrested by the Bidhannagar Police.
