Sanchita Das Bakreshwar, Birbhum: Bakreshwar Shakti Peeth in West Bengal is located on the banks of the Papahara river in Birbhum district. It is 24 km from Siuri town and 240 km from Kolkata. The temple architecture is of the Hindu style. Inside the temple complex are the temples of Mahishmardini and Bakreshwar. The ancient paintings of the former goddess are protected by the Archaeological Survey of India. The temple is an important pilgrimage site, attracting devotees from all over the country. The main deity of the temple is Lord Shiva, who is represented by a Shiva Linga. The temple complex also houses other deities, providing a holistic spiritual experience. The temple is a popular destination for devotees on spiritual journeys across India, especially those who visit the numerous Shiva temples in the region. And now it has been seen that the very ancient temple known as the Nat Mandir in Birbhum's Bakreshwar Dham and that multi-walled Nat Mandir has become a dilapidated state. The dilapidated Nat Mandir collapsed due to continuous rain. The staff of the Bakreshwar Temple has already told us that no one was injured in the collapse of the Nat Mandir, but if anyone had, they would have been in a big accident.
