Sanchita Chatterjee, BS News Agency, Lalgola, 13.12.2025: Lalgola Police, in exercise of powers under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act, 1985, have frozen *a total of 20 properties valued at approximately ₹3,78,85,385/- (Rupees three crore seventy-eight lakh eighty-five thousand three hundred eighty-five).*
The frozen properties stand in the name of *Md. Kobir Sk @ Kabir Sk @ Kabir Sekh @ Kobir Sekh, son of Late Johar Ali, resident of Natungram, P.O. & P.S. Lalgola, District Murshidabad, as well as his family members.*
Earlier, a specific case was registered against Md. Kobir Sk under NDPS Act. These properties were identified during investigation as having been acquired through proceeds of drug trafficking.
