To gain firsthand knowledge about the historic East-West Metro project beneath the Hooghly River, His Excellency Mr. Chris Cooter, the Canadian High Commissioner to India, arrived in Kolkata on a special visit on Thursday. He traveled on the East-West Metro from New Esplanade station to Howrah station. A team of high-ranking officials from the Canadian High Commission accompanied him.
