the Government of West Bengal takes a significant step towards preserving the spirit of Durga Puja which is recognised by UNESCO as an "Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity". Through the visionary initiative “Durga Angan”, a permanent courtyard dedicated to the daily worship of Maa Durga has been prepared. The Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will lay the foundation stone of Durga Angan in New Town.
