of 25 years in medical rehabilitation, the Medical Rehabilitation Centre (MRC)
commemorated this significant milestone with the MRC 25 Summit 2025, a
prestigious confluence of knowledge, innovation, and collaboration. The
day-long conference brought together some of the most eminent doctors,
healthcare leaders, and rehabilitation specialists from across India,
reaffirming MRC's enduring pursuit of best-in-class patient care. The summit
served as a powerful reflection of MRC's journey over the past two and a half
decades, featuring incisive panel discussions and expert-led sessions on
contemporary and emerging areas of rehabilitation medicine.
During the deliberations, experts
extensively discussed the safety, scalability, and future potential of robotic
therapy and artificial intelligence in medical rehabilitation, particularly in
the context of Kolkata's evolving healthcare ecosystem. Speakers highlighted
that robotic rehabilitation is poised for significant growth over the next five
to seven years, driven by positive patient outcomes, growing trust through
real-life success stories, and the gradual adoption of advanced robotic systems
by established rehabilitation units. The discussions focused on how
precision-driven, technology-enabled care aligns with the core objective of
rehabilitation medicine, to deliver accurate, effective, and patient-centric
