Post-budget public outpouring: Trinamool holds mega press conference across all districts of the state, leadership sings praises of women and youth.

Sanchita BS News Agency Own Correspondent, South 24 Parganas: Within 24 hours of the state budget presentation, the Trinamool Congress has geared up to deliver the state government's pro-people projects to the doorsteps of the common man. Today, on February 6, a press conference was held across the state as well as in South 24 Parganas district. From this conference, the top leadership of the district highlighted the details of the budget and its far-reaching positive aspects.

Present at this important press conference of the district were Subhashish Chakraborty (DP, Diamond Harbor Jadavpur Organizational District), Joydev Halder (DP, Sundarbans), Ashok Dev (DC, Diamond Harbor Jadavpur Organizational District), Namita Saha (DC, Sundarbans), Manmohini Biswas (DMP, Diamond Harbor Jadavpur Organizational District) and Kaushik Roy (DYP, Diamond Harbor Jadavpur Organizational District).

*Budget direction for women and youth:* 
The district leadership simultaneously claimed at the conference that this year's budget is basically a budget to strengthen the financial backbone of women and youth.
 Women Empowerment: Leaders Namita Saha and Manmohini Biswas discussed how the increase in allocation for self-help groups, starting from the Lakshmi Bhandar project, has ensured respect and self-reliance for rural women.

*Employment of the youth:* Kaushik Roy and Subhashish Chakraborty explained in detail the various vocational education announced in the budget for the young generation. 
*Development and Sundarbans context:* 
Sundarbans Organizational District President Joydev Halder and senior leader Ashok Deb said that special attention has been given in the budget for the development of fishermen of South 24 Parganas and people in remote areas of the Sundarbans. Starting from the development of irrigation systems to the construction of infrastructure to deal with natural disasters, this budget will play a major role.

*Protest against central deprivation:* 
The leadership also raised allegations of deprivation against the central government from today's press conference. They said that even though the Centre has withheld funds for the housing scheme or 100 days of work, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has stood by the people of Bengal from the state's own funds.
All in all, through today's press conference, all the grassroots leaders of the state wanted to give the message that this budget is a budget for 'mother-soil-people' and it will bring smiles to every home.
