Taking as its inspiration the glorious 131st Birth Anniversary of Swami Pranavananda Maharaj, a grand six-day 'Sri Sri Pranab Mahamilan Mela' (Great Reunion Fair) will be held at the Manmathapur Pranab Mandir from the 8th to the 13th of Chaitra, 1432 BS (March 23 to March 28, 2026 AD), on the auspicious occasion of the worship of Sri Sri Basanti Mata.
The highlight of the event will be the ceremonial inauguration of the Puja Pandal and the Sri Sri Pranab Mahamilan Mela, which will take place on Monday, March 23, 2026 (8th Chaitra, 1432 BS), at 5:00 PM. This inauguration will be marked by the lighting of 131
*Panchapradeeps* (five-wick lamps) and the opening of 131 *Annapurna Bhandars* (community food distribution centers). The ceremony will be graced by the presence of the *Sannyasis* (monks) of the Sangha, alongside individuals from all walks of society.
