Sanchita Chatterjee, BS News Agency, Kolkata, 6th April 2026: Ambuja Neotia Group launched DHADKAN, a flagship CSR initiative aimed to conduct fully-funded paediatric cardiac surgeries for underprivileged children diagnosed with congenital heart disease (CHD).
The initiative was unveiled in the presence of Mr. Pradeep Lal Mehta, Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited, Ms. Ruma Banerjee, Joint President & COO, Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited, Dr. Indrani Subramanian, Facility Director, Neotia Bhagirathi Woman and Child Care Centre (NBWCCC), New Town and Cardiology department, at NEOPEDICON, the flagship paediatric conference of Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited. Medical assessments, treatments, and surgeries under this initiative will be conducted at NBWCCC, New Town.
CHD is one of the most prevalent birth defects, yet many children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds lack access to timely and specialized cardiac care. Recognizing this critical gap between early diagnosis and life-saving treatment, Ambuja Neotia Group has initiated DHADKAN - the Group’s flagship social impact programme, dedicated to enabling paediatric cardiac surgeries for underprivileged children diagnosed with CHD. Through this initiative, the Group strives to bridge the divide between detection and timely treatment, ensuring that more children receive the critical care they need to lead healthy lives.
