If the tribunal issues a clearance certificate in the name of a pending voter even two days before the Bengal elections, they will be able to vote.

Sanchita Chatterjee, BS News Agency: The Supreme Court clarified in its guidelines in the Bengal SIR case. The court said that this special order has been given by invoking Article 142. Not only that, in the revised guidelines, the Supreme Court also said that voting can be done if the case is settled in the tribunal between April 21 and April 27. Even if the tribunal issues a clearance certificate two days before the elections, voting can be done, the Supreme Court clarified. For this, the commission will have to publish an additional list. The Supreme Court's observation is that applying does not mean getting the right to vote. Meanwhile, state lawyer Kalyan Banerjee has commented that such an order in the SIR process underway in Bengal is a Benazir. In his words, "This is what we wanted. The exercise of the special powers of the Supreme Court is definitely a Benazir in the SIR process in Bengal." Regarding this order of the Supreme Court, Trinamool MP and state lawyer Kalyan Banerjee further said, "The order has been uploaded today. It is clear from it that all the appeals that will be disposed of till the 21st will be added to the list. And all the names that will be disposed of before the second phase i.e. by the 27th will be added. We are grateful to the Supreme Court.
