Sanchita Chatterjee, BS News Agency: Another historic success has been achieved in the field of defense of India. The successful test launch of the medium-range ballistic missile 'Agni-4' was completed from the 'Integrated Test Range' (ITR) in Chandipur, Odisha on Thursday. The test, conducted under the supervision of the Strategic Forces Command (SFC), verified all the technical and operational parameters of the missile and each target was achieved satisfactorily, the Ministry of Defense said. The 'Agni-4' missile, made entirely using indigenous technology, is capable of hitting targets at a distance of about 4,000 km. This missile, capable of carrying nuclear weapons, is equipped with very modern navigation and targeting technology. According to defense experts, this successful test has further strengthened the overall preparedness and deterrence of the Indian Armed Forces.
