Municipal and Urban Development Minister Agnimitra Pal said that this time, keeping in mind the mothers, there will be a separate system at each bus stop, where children can be fed. Along with this, there will be vending machines for drinking water, cold drinks and light snacks. There will also be a separate CCTV surveillance system at each bus stop. He also said that there are separate plans for cities like Cooch Behar and Mayapur. On the other hand, Agnimitra Pal also said that fines will be introduced against spitting on bus stops and roads and illegal parking from September 1.
Agnimitra Pal said that the state government is working for women. He also claimed that investors are coming forward to invest in industries in the state. According to him, the members of Gen G who had left are returning. Appealing for more to come back, he said that they should come back within the next six months. He also commented that Bengal is now the focus. Agnimitra urged those who are not thinking about Bengal to think about it. He claimed that the previous situation has changed and there is no extortion. If anyone tries to withdraw money illegally, no matter which party he belongs to, action will be taken. Calling on the people of Kolkata to be aware, Agnimitra said that if anyone litters on the road, they will be fined from September 1. He also said that app-based parking will be arranged. Agnimitra also said that the bus stands will be modernized and modern facilities including digital displays and charging systems will be installed. He also commented that Tangra China Town will be renovated. Regarding Sumit Roy, Agnimitra said that he is a criminal and a close aide of Abhishek Banerjee. He claimed that they have set West Bengal back 100 years.
